It’s a beautiful town with a clean and perfect beach, amazing people live and visit here year round we have it all from great food good nightlife we have the ocean and bay a few streets apart from each other attractions and views that are unbelievable – Mike Braun

It’s gorgeous – Debbi McManimon

There is something to be said about driving over the bridge onto LBI! I’ve always felt that whatever life challenges I was experiencing are always left at the base of the bridge as I entered my true happy place.

LBI is so much more than a beach town at the Jersey Shore. It’s a place people come to enjoy the many attractions but also to enjoy the simple pleasures of a non-commercial, friendly community. The beaches are clean, it’s family oriented and the sunsets never disappoint!

LBI is a special place to all those who visit. – Maria W

I’ve been going to LBI for as long as I can remember. It’s always been a family beach and where memories are made. It’s always been super clean, less commercial than many of the Jersey beaches, no loud cars blaring music up and down the boulevard, and LBI feels safe.

 – Lisa Ciallella

Long Beach Island is a great place to spend great times with family and friends. Everyone in Long Beach Island are so friendly and welcoming. Everyday you meet someone new just passing by on the street. Some of the best restaurants are on the island and all are small mom and pop places. And that is what makes them so special and unique. We love LBI and look forward to many more memories in the years to come. – Mark Besser and Lillian Rodriguez

Long Beach Island is one of my favorite places to visit all year round. Once I cross over the Causeway and the bridge onto the island, I am in a slice of peaceful paradise, a great escape from the hectic pace of daily life in New Jersey. Once I pull in the driveway of the house, my car often stays there until it’s time to leave. I enjoy that you can walk to so many things. I love the small town feel of the island with its lack of big name chains. You know when you support one of the businesses, you are truly putting money into someone’s pocket, and not adding to some CEO’s balance sheet. I love the variety of shops and following them on social media where you can see that each and every item is chosen with purpose by a dedicated shop owner. I love joining the runners, walkers and cyclists on Ocean Blvd. so that I can earn my calories to enjoy the variety of food/restaurants available on the island, whether dining inside a restaurant or eating takeout on the house deck. And then, of course, there’s dessert, from hot custom donuts to cold homemade ice cream. Over the years I’ve climbed Ol’ Barney and look forward to tackling it again one day, as well as have gone parasailing. I’ve enjoyed days at the waterpark and at Fantasy Island with my nieces and nephews and days on the beach or on a boat, docked at a sandbar in the bay. With all this, there’s still so much on the island that I haven’t seen or done and I look forward to experiencing more in the years to come. – Antoinette Marrero

My mother grew up in Beach Haven my grandfather was a pound boat fisherman and I have grown up spending summers on the island. I have seen Beach Haven grow from the days of Hartman’s Giant slide and nothing open in the winter to having to wait an hour for a table in January. The friendly and fun attitude of the island hasn’t change and that is why I will always call LBI my home away from home. – Will Federico

LBI is a beautiful barrier island that has a family friendly atmosphere. There is so much to do from morning to night including shopping, parasailing, festivals, rides, arcade, teen nights, casual and fine dining, and sunset cruises just to name a few. There is something for everyone. I love living on LBI. The summers are perfect and the winters are peaceful. Whether you are on the bay side or ocean side the views are stunning. Buying a house on LBI was the best decision I’ve ever made. – Annette Marrero

I have been a resident in Ocean County for over 19 years. My wife and I spent much of our time visiting and vacationing in Long Beach Island (LBI) as teens. Our goal was to someday buy a home in LBI. We spent many years renting and enjoying everything LBI had to offer. I find myself incredibly blessed to have been able to buy our own home in LBI 4 years ago.
